SG60 Flagship Event: SG60 Heart&Soul Experience Opens Today
Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong today launched the Heart&Soul Experience, SG60’s flagship event offering Singaporeans a peek into what their future could look like. More than 300 guests attended the launch event at Orchard Central, including artists with disabilities from Shaping Hearts, partner organisations and government agencies who have contributed to the showcase, as well as youths from National Youth Council.
The event was also attended by Mrs Josephine Teo, Minister for Digital Development and Information; Mr Tan Kiat How, Senior Minister of State for Digital Development and Information; Ms Low Yen Ling, Senior Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth; and Mdm Rahayu Mahzam, Minister of State for Digital Development and Information.
Journey across our past, present and future
Jointly developed by the Ministry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI) and National Library Board (NLB), Heart&Soul brings to life Singapore’s vision for tomorrow through a voyage across our past, present and future. With the use of immersive storytelling and generative AI, the showcase creates a personalised, imaginative experience for each visitor, connecting them to their future in Singapore. The experience also draws from insights and future plans of more than 110 partners across the public, private and people sectors, including ForwardSG.
As the SG60 flagship event, Heart&Soul commemorates Singapore’s nation-building journey by providing visitors the opportunity to reflect on our progress as a nation and look forward to our shared future. The experience will guide visitors to imagine how we might work, play, and live with one another in the future, inspiring hope and confidence to build our Singapore together beyond SG60.
