MDDI's Response to PQ on Digital Parenting Survey's Representation of Resident Parent Population's Income Levels
14 October 2025
Parliament Sitting on 14 October 2025
Question for written answer
36. Mr Ng Shi Xuan asked the Minister for Digital Development and Information (a) whether the Ministry's inaugural Digital Parenting Survey is representative of our Singapore resident parent population in terms of income levels; and (b) if not, why not.
Answer
The sample of respondents for the Digital Parenting Survey is representative of the national proportions of parents in Singapore by gender, age and race. We are unable to determine representativeness by parents’ income levels because such data is not made available through this survey.
