*38. Mr Ng Shi Xuan asked the Minister for Digital Development and Information (a) whether there are any Government programmes or grants available to media startups that are producing local content, including content featuring local culture, customs and traditions; and (b) if not, whether the Ministry will consider introducing such programmes or grants.

Answer
The Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) supports local media companies, including startups, in content creation and capabilities development. Information can be found on IMDA’s website.
