Public Sector Data Security Review (2019)
The Public Sector Data Security Review Committee (PSDSRC) was convened on 31 March 2019 to conduct a thorough review of data security policies and practices across the Public Service.
Following its review, the Committee recommended additional technical and procedural measures to enhance data protection and prevent breaches. It put forward five key recommendations to strengthen the Government’s data security framework.

In the 2020 Budget, the Government announced an investment of $1 billion over three years to enhance cybersecurity and data security in the public sector. It will also continually and proactively enhance its initiatives to ensure the resiliency of its data security regime to respond and address emerging threats and risks
